Escape to Mallorca. #septembersun

Posted by admin on September 3, 2021

As the summer draws to a close on the island, the children go back to school and offices re open. Residents return to the everyday reality of life, however for the island of Mallorca, September has always been a month where visitors flock to escape for a few days at a time.

Flight prices lower after the mad rush of the summer holidays and the uncomfortable high temperatures reduce.

Tourists that are looking for an escape from the northern European chill, still hold Mallorca in high stead when planning their weekend breaks.

While still being warm enough to visit the beach, September also offers visitors much more outdoor activities. Hiking in the mountains, or along the rugged coastline, cycling and water sports such as wake boarding, kayaking and paddle boarding. Visitors can take advantage of the quieter beaches and outdoor areas.

Despite the fact that Mallorca has now returned to the UK’s amber list it has still managed to stay at the top of the list of most visited places for UK holiday makers. This is in stark contrast to last years figures where the number of foreign tourists fell by 94.1%. Which was the highest percentage decrease in the country.

If you are visiting this September, try and make the most of Palma city’s hidden sights, plazas and tapas bars during your break, or drive up to the picturesque villages of Soller, Deia and Valdemossa.

You can also use this time to scan for investments in properties or homes, for family retreats or renovation projects. When you escape to Mallorca agency contacts are essential es pecially if you are concerned with purchasing or selling a property.

Be sure to contact Mallorca Estate Agency for all matters relating to real estate in the South West of Mallorca.
